As a Colorado native, Michael's roots date back to Colorado's homesteaders. Michael's family arrived back in 1863 and homesteaded multiple front range and mountain towns. His family has farmed and ranched Colorado for multiple generations.
Michael gained an appreciation for Colorado and it's beauty from a young age. Michael is an avid outdoors man. He began skiing at the age of 4 and went on camping and hiking excursions before he could even walk. Additionally, Michael has hunted small and big game with his family since age 12. Michael has traveled all across Colorado, the west and outside the county hunting.
Michael began his education at Arizona State University, where he acquired a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Certificate in International Business from the W.P. Carey School of Business. Following business school, Michael worked on Capitol Hill protecting hunting and fishing. Michael then returned to his roots in Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Law School. During law school, Michael studied natural resources and business law in order to gain proficiency and knowledge of these subjects in order to provide immediate value to his clients.
Following law school, Michael worked for an oil and gas firm, focused on providing representation to landowners. Michael conducted class-action litigation and transactional work at the firm prior to departing and practicing law on his own. Subsequently, Michael worked as a Landman conducting mineral title examination in Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Michael transitioned from landman work to working at another Oil and Gas Law firm where we focus on providing Title Opinions for industry clients. In Michael’s 8 years of practicing law, he’s represented numerous clients in business, real property, commercial and oil and gas.
